- Each bowl requires an incredible amount of time and skill to create, therefore this style is limited. Every piece is hand hammered and polished before being etched with extraordinary detail.
- Inside features an intricate Medicine Buddha design with mantra surrounding, along with beautiful swirls of repeated Medicine Buddha mantras and Eternal Knot symbols. The mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, wraps around the outside and a unique sacred geometry design grounds the base of the bowl.
The Medicine Buddha is a deity of compassion and healing. He is believed to alleviate suffering for mental and physical illness. The mantra reads, "Om Bekandze Bekandze, Maha Bekandze, Radza Samudgate Soha." This translates to, "May the many sentient beings who are sick, quickly be freed from sickness. And may all the sicknesses of beings never arise again."
Om Mani Padme Hum, the compassion mantra, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. It decorates the outside of the bowl and is separated by dorje designs, an emblem of protection.
The base of the bowl displays a geometrical design based on the principles of sacred geometry. These designs are often used for meditation to connect on a deeper spiritual level.
